Arms went from 15.5 inches(39.37cm) to 16.5 inches(41.91cm) since I got back from my Tough Mudder and weight is actually down 2 pounds or so.

They just plumped back up after stopping the kryptonite to muscle volume. Cardio. Serious, cardio is good in moderation, not 10 miles everyday.

Strength also coming back nicely. 250x10 on bench at the moment. Did the 50 reps with 240 workout. Only missed the full 10 on my last set. Got 9 so I racked it, took a breath and did the last rep. Great workout!

Yeah, two days ago I tried the 50 rep workout with 240 pounds. I did it in 6 sets. Last set was 1 rep. I'll probably stick with that weight for a little bit and then move up slowly.

Before an injury in 2010 I was doing sets of 10 with 295 so I'm not satisfied not to make you hate me more. I would LOVE to get my bench to 400 again. That will take a nice bulk though.

I wouldn't push it too hard on the calories. To be honest, when I began lifting I had no idea what I was doing so we benched almost every day. I went from the bar plus maybe a couple tens on each side(wobbily as heck lol) to repping 225 in about 15 months maybe. It seemed to take forever but looking back it was pretty fast. Of course, impatience gets the best of us all. Thank goodness for the way clothes fit and the mirror because I would be highly frustrated if it were not for that. The 180's love me.

Not saying you should bench every day but maybe just up the frequency and volume a little. I'm no weight lifting guru so it may be counterproductive at your level but if what you're doing isn't working...

The strongest man on earth is 6'9" and started off as a skinny basketball player. You can do it! :)

Same thing happened with my husband. He was running and lost so much of his muscle. Too much running! He started lifting again and is still rebuilding. Looking much better! Great job!

Moral of the story... When a wife says you are getting smaller or too thin, it's said out of love and concern. Listen🙂

Koshka, I think the same thing when he posts a side view pic lol. Told hubby he can build muscle all he wants but his waist must be bigger than mine and his ‘boobs’ smaller haha. (Just the projection has to be smaller)
