Started this journey because of health problems - kidney function not so good and significantly overweight +++ other stuff. I love red meat and loads of salt, but decided I had better learn to eat less and learn to love fish and chicken - and stop using salt. It hasn't been a full week yet, but my taste buds seem to be adjusting (staying a bit hungry probably helps with that).

Pleased with the early progress and hope I can keep it up. I've had a couple of days less that 1000 calories, but found I need more than that to feel good.

yes you do, and honestly what you eat can help to fuel your weight loss. Whole foods and enough protein for your needs and your body will be happier too.
