I'm going to attempt to donate blood today (I have one of those rare types they beg for). I say attempt because my iron is often too low. But I have been feeling great and taking my iron supplements regulary... so we will see if my healthier FS eating has helped improve my iron levels too! BUT I am trying to eat and drink more today to make sure I don't feel faint after I give. So I think I'll dread seeing what my food diary might look like tonight! lol

Good for you for attempting! I have one of those really rare blood types too and know I should be donating but due to several recent surgeries, I haven't. I should be okay to donate by now though. Good luck!

My iron was too low. Not diet related as this happens about half the time when I go to donate no matter how I'm eating. Oh well I'll try again in a few weeks.
