1500 calories a day for maintenance? Really?? That doesn't seem like enough for you!!

Give a try at 1500 and see how your body responds but it seems pretty low to me too. Maintenance is a challenge, you have to find what will work for the rest of your life...

I read that your body needs 2 or 3 weeks to adapt to a new regimen. Which means that you need to take your time and don't panic if the weight fluctuates. Of course everybody is different... Good luck! One thing though, I would start around 1700 cals a day, see how I feel and then lower my intake if required. If you start too low, it might be more difficult for your body to adjust. Just my opinion, I'm not an expert!

1500 does sound very low. I agree with Jessy and your wife. Have a great day coach.

Gosh Coach, you are doing remarkable and so far below the line! Congrats on your maintenance ability. Is it harder maintaining than loosing? Keep the jokes coming :-)
