Not used to use the food calendar yet. Not sure how many calories I eat! I just eat small portions based on what it is. If it's something that looks bad for me, I eat only a very small bit. Like today, we had hamburger meatballs for dinner - filled with grease and sodium. So I ate my lettuce first and filled up on that, then had a very small bite of the meatballs, probably less than a half of an ounce.

I know it might seem hard to judge portions at first, but it just takes a little practice. One of two things might help: 1) I have a small device called "CalorieSmart" that fits in my purse that does all the work or 2) if you want to save money, check out UC Berkley's website on how to measure your portions using every day items. Here is there website: http://caldining.berkeley.edu/portion.html
