I am putting off a weigh in for a while. After 4th of July I have been on a carb binge. Plus when visiting a friend they left a package of Oreos on the table, and went on munching them the entire time. My calories have been way over, but I managed to bring myself back down yesterday. Hopefully in a couple of weeks I will have undone the damage. I'll work harder next time in not letting my cravings run away. Cookies are fine, but next time I going to put them away once I have the one.

It is a learning process. I am finally internalizing the idea that failure/slip-ups are guaranteed, and not all that important. It is getting back on track quickly that matters.

I did similar this past weekend, and did weigh myself this morning. Didn't want to, but to learn I had to "face the music". Wasn't too bad, gained 2 pounds, now I have to take that off and extra for my next weigh in. This is a journey and we all are learning.
