2 tbs of coconut oil (it should be soft), 2 tbs of almond butter and 3 tbs of really good unsweetened cacao powder. Mix together till it getting smooth, put in baking cups and then in the fridge. That's all. It's possible to add some stevia or maple syrup or blended dates for sweetness. But to my taste coconut oil is sweet enough.

I have to plan more chocolate into my menu and this looks like a fantastic way to do it. I just bought a bunch of coconut oil, and have almond butter. I should invest in some quality cocoa, I just have the cheap stuff on hand.

High quality cacao means a lot! And it's very delicious and a strong antioxidant, so it won't be a waste of money.

I made this today and all I had was unsweetened regular Hershey cocoa. It turned out really well however I don’t like the dark chocolate bitterness personally. I made a second batch with two table spoons coconut oil, two tablespoons of the unsweetened almond butter and then one tablespoon of cocoa. I also put a teaspoon of Stevia in it. Heated it in a sauce pan poured it into the mini cupcake cups and refrigerated it. Second batch was amazing

I just made these and they are amazing!! I grind my own nuts to make the nut butter and I did half almonds and half pecans. I love raw cacao powder and get an organic kind. These taste sooo decadent, thank you for sharing the recipe!!
