The funny part of the whole Atkins thing is I weigh a pound less than when I started that crazy diet for the 20th time. I'm so glad it's "improved" because if not I would never had spent so much time on that website finding out how bad it really is. Dropping weight like that is not healthy. I never thought I would ever be this heavy, even when I wasn't on the diet I looked at carbs as the enemy. Years of messed up thinking. K8YK and JenJu, thank you for all your posts. I really am convinced counting calories and exercising is the way to go. How about Hollywood, probally atleast 1/2 of those celebs are doing some form of Atkins. Such a "quality of Life" issue, amongst everything else wrong with it.

Hi Tifany I came off Atkins as well (a week ago) and I am losing and happier now :) I watch my carbs still, cause I am afraid I would mess up my metabolism after 2 months on Atkins. I am eating mostly whole foods 6x a day. I am also working out 1 h a day. My carb percentage is still low (Im kinda low carbing) but I am satisfied with the amount of veggies I am eating :) My cals are around 1600-1700. I wish you success. Ana
