Should IF everyday ? Currently pick one day a week

I suspect it's entirely down to what suits you. I do roughly 16:8 every day - ranging between 15:9 and 19:5 depending on what meetings I have around lunchtime and how soon I eat dinner when I get in.

I read somewhere if you do it everyday it screws you up but maybe once or twice a week is perfect. I did it once a week with keto and I’m the lightest I’ve been in 10 years. But I now want to get shredded so thinking everyday might be the answer I just don’t know 🤔

I'm doing it every day - 15h fast (from 6pm till 9am) and 9h eating window. During the fast I'm drinking a lot of water/herbal tea. It became a natural thing for me very quickly and I wasn't even aware I'm doing it! If it helps - well as long as you're not packing insane amount of calories into your eating window, it can be a good thing. It makes you control your hunger as well. Worth researching a bit and trying.

I’ve read more articles with references to humans about the benefits of IF than ones saying it’s bad, which don’t seem to reference human trials very often. To me, that supports IF but each to their own. What I don’t know about is how it would fit with your particular target which sounds to be better defined musculature. I’m still trying to get rid of flobbly-wobbly bits 😂😂

Oh ok I’m going to have a go I used to fat from 6pm through to 9am and lost weight quickly before I may try it again I didn’t know it was a ‘thing’ lol

Phooka your name is the best 😂 I’ve seen a lot of bodybuilding doing it but I know everyone is different. It’s good to have some wobbly bits ha ha

I fast quite a lot. Mixing it up seems to work best - 16:8, 20:4 etc., The main rules seem to be to eat (up to) 3 meals a day, no snacks, eat real food - no flour, no sugar - and move as well as you can.
