*sob*
Having such a bad day.
A good friend of mine is losing weight like you wouldn't believe, thanks to pool work and non processed food. She told me today that I need to loose a bit of weight to be healthy!
It seems that because her diet is going well, she is picking at mine (what there is of it) It was a VERY depressing reminder that I am not doing well, and made me want to just call it quits. I mean who cares if I'm fat? I'm not trying to impress anyone. However, I think of those blessed 30lbs I lost last year and just wish I could get motivated enough to do it again. Comments from "well meaning" friends just push me back into the hole however.
How do you overcome it? How do you avoid getting epressed over it? How do you avoid the comfort eating?
I can't do the non processed diet because that kind of food costs a lot here and I hate to cook. What I'm eating now is the same as what I ate when I last was at WW and I lost weight then, so I don't think the food is the problem. I think it's more a me problem...
Help?!

Awww...sorry to hear you are having a tough time. Try to use your friends' "well meaning" comments as a motivator to prove to them that you can do this! As for the processed food vs. non-processed... salad veggies are not too bad for price this time of year if you look for the sale prices. Frozen veggies are cheaper and still nutrient packed for 0 points for most (peas and corn are 1 point for 1 cup). The veggies will fill you up, give you good nutrients, and not use up a lot of points. What about canned tuna or salmon? They are very good for you and reasonably priced. You can even mix some up with a little low fat mayo, celery, green onions and make some great sandwiches. Those all take very little prep but provide lots of good, filling, low point nutrition and they aren't processed! How is your exercise level? Can you work in an extra walk or lift some weights (even if it's soup cans or water bottles!). Don't despair. Just re-evaluate and make small changes. Sometimes that is all it takes. Good luck!

Sorry that you are so down. Maybe you could look on the internet for some low fat receipes that you could put into a crockpot. That way the crockpot could do the cooking for you. Keep your chin up and stay on this website for encouragement. Good Luck to You. Hugs
